BLT is an amnesiac and mostly mute bounty hunter working for Madam Tilia’s syndicate. She’s been tasked to find her missing work partner while paying off his debts in the meantime. They are unknowingly a cyborg and the shared “alter” of an alien and symbiote who reveal themselves whenever BLT is heavily threatened.

BLT originally didn’t feel like looking into their past since they’re too busy with work, but it eventually comes into question when they discover they’re actually a cyborg.

Appearance

BLT is a tall, thin cyborg who stands at 6’6″ (1.98m) and appears as a broad-shouldered, shapely, dark purple robot with a light blue cracked visor and two white eyes surrounded by black markings. On her shoulders are the logo of a mysterious company who created them.

For fashion, they usually wear the red and yellow jacket of their missing friend, a purple turtleneck, a navy blue hakama, and red sneakers.

In their symbiote form, the engravings on their body begins to glow cyan and it body splits apart to reveal that it’s actually armor for the symbiote’s hulking form. Their head sprouts ears reflecting the appearance of the original host whose species is called the Hemse. She develops claws, an elongated mouth full of sharp teeth, and a long serrated tongue dripping with a toxic saliva. Their height varies while in this form, but it is usually somewhere around 8′-9′ (2.44m-2.74m).

Personality

BLT is normally a kind and laidback person, but becomes violent and temperamental when the symbiote and its host awaken. They’re mostly nonverbal, speaking in sign language or writing down what they have to say. They’re very sympathetic and charitable, helping others whenever they can, but sometimes they can be childish and petty which lands them into big trouble.

Since BLT is the shared alter of the symbiote and its host, the violent and temperamental personality they have seems to be what they originally were. They are also capable of speech, and have quite a foul mouth on them.

History

BLT’s origins remained a mystery to them in the beginning. They had no memories of their past or their own name when they woke up in an abandoned research facility, and when she wandered out of it they encountered the Scavenger, a bounty hunter who took them in. When asking for their name, they chose the name BLT after seeing a paper sandwich wrap on the floor of the passenger seat.

BLT quickly befriended the Scavenger and became one of the bounty hunters for the Scavenger’s boss, Madam Tilia, a former princess who turned to crime for a living. The Scavenger wasn’t exactly the most moralistic of men, but they had a good relationship and stuck together even if they argued at times.

During a flight back from a mission, BLT blacked out and found themself crash-landed on a low-gravity planet with the Scavenger missing. Unable to remember what happened, they simply thought he ditched them when she learned he owes several debts. Furious, Madam Tilia placed his debts onto BLT until she can find him.

BLT wasn’t thrilled to be tethered to this woman and her syndicate for much longer, but they made the best out of it. While on their search for the Scavenger, shes learn a horrific truth about themself during a mission: they’re a cyborg, or more specifically, a cyborg bonded to a symbiote. They then go on a journey of self-discovery.

Trivia

• The host and symbiote are much older than BLT, but BLT has a more younger, innocent mindset than them.
• BLT was originally created as a mashup child (called a Deadly Mistake) of Canti from FLCL and Venom from a non-specific universe of the Spider-Man series, but has since then been repurposed into a more original fan character.
